Hunter's Reach luxury bed & breakfast

Luxury bed & breakfast set in a tranquil location (no traffic noise!) on the edge of Dartmoor at the western edge of Holne village, approximately 3 miles from Ashburton and 45 minutes from the coast and beautiful South Hams beaches. Holne is also on The Two Moors Way, and is a great centre for any walking holiday - so we are used to drying boots and clothes.

Prices from £32.50 per person per night in comfortable well-appointed double/twin rooms with private bathroom/shower or en suite shower room. Bathrobes, hairdryers, televisions and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in the rooms. Wi-fi connection is available for your own laptop – though you may be too busy looking out of the window at our glorious views, or in winter, relaxing by the log fire!

On arrival you will be offered complimentary afternoon tea -Breakfast is a feast of fruit, cereals and yoghurt, followed by a locally sourced (where possible) ‘full English’, with homemade bread/toast/rolls, jams and marmalade.

Packed lunches: available on request when booking

Evening Meals: Good pub food is available at our local pub, the 14th Century Church House Inn, which is a short picturesque stroll across a paddock and the churchyard. A wider choice of pubs and restaurants can be found within a few miles.

Directions: (Grid Ref. For Hunters Reach : 703 693) Leave the A38 for Ashburton at the Peartree Junction and follow the signs for Holne. After about 3 miles, take the first turning down into Holne village, and in the middle of the village go across the junction, keeping the Church House Inn and the church on your right. Go up through the village and round a nasty (careful!) right-hand bend signed for Hexworthy and Michelcombe. Take the next left turning into Michelcombe Lane. Hunters Reach is the first house on the right. There is ample off-road parking.
