Main Hall

The Main Hall will seat approximately 100 people or 150 - 200 standing. It has a stage at one end, making it ideal for dramatic or musical events and a Kitchen available on request. The Booking charges are outlined below. You can either use this booking request form or alternatively print it out and drop it in to the Information Centre.

Costs:
For non-commercial use: £8.00 per hour
For commercial use: £10.00 per hour
After Midnight: £16.00 per hour
Kitchen: + £4.00 per hour


Small Hall

The Small Hall will seat approximately 50 people and the Kitchen is available on request. The Booking charges are outlined below. You can either use this booking request form or alternatively print it out and drop it in to the Information Centre.

Costs:
For non-commercial use: £7.00 per hour
For commercial use: £9.00 per hour
Kitchen: + £4.00 per hour

Please Note: There are certain times when these facilities are not available, for example, during Carnival Week (end June/early July) and The Dartmoor Artists Exhibition (2 weeks in August)

This form acts simply as a booking request. The booking will not be finalised until you have been contacted by the Town Council, submitted a signed booking form and a deposit has been acquired from the hirer. You must fill in all fields marked with a

Terms of Payment

A booking deposit/damage waiver deposit of £100 is required for private bookings. At the discretion of the Town Council this deposit will be banked against your outstanding account if settlement on raised invoices is not received within 30 days as from the date of the invoice, or set against any damage caused during the booking.

An invoice will be issued and settlement is required within 30 days as from the date of the invoice.

Any excess work caused to the caretaker as a direct result of neglect by the hirer will be charged to the hirer.

Cancellation
The Town Council requires a minimum of SEVEN DAYS NOTICE, in writing, of any cancellation of booking. If less than seven days notice is given, the Council reserve the right to make a charge to the hirer concerned.
